Just been sent the BIS judge's critique for Chelmbull Rocket Man, the Frenchie that won Reserve Best in Show at the BUBA champ show at the weekend.
Here's what judge Tim Ball has to say about the dog:
"Reserve BIS ...was the 13 mth brindle French Bulldog dog, Cund & Harropโs Chelmbull Rocket Man. One of the very best of the breed I have judged to date, this youngster is absolutely breathtaking such is his quality. Just right for size, sturdy and compact, carrying such good bone and well muscled all through. I thought his head and expression quite something, having the very best of eyes and ears, good breadth to skull, domed forehead, well developed cheeks, muzzle of good breadth and depth, WIDE OPEN NOSTRILS [my caps] and strong, turned up underjaw with plenty of width."
Still, this is the same judge who recently described the winning Shih Tzu in the third picture as having "correct dentition'.
Some re-training in order ,perhaps?
